1 week and 2 days.

Friday was one week since I stepped on a train and went to Portland.
Doesn't sound like that big of a deal.
Ah, but it was.
I've always lived on the outskirts. For the past two years, I've been in The Middle Of Nowhere Washington. More commonly known as Kapowsin. Never heard of it? That's ok. Not many people have.
Imagine a massively rural area. Now add tons of trees, dirt roads, and very few people. Next, throw in cows, goats, and old guys with shotguns. Tada! You have Kapowsin.
Now, let us take a look at Portland.
People--oh, so many people. Everywhere. All the time. They never go away.
So many things to see. It's so beautiful. The lights on the river at night; I've never seen anything like it.

Saturday Market! Holy Dragons! I can't compare it to anything I've ever seen.

So, in case you are wondering what this blog is about, it's about a girl from the middle of nowhere going to one of the biggest somewheres.
